The iconic former BBC HQ preserves its main identity via a project revolving around media in form and spirit organised through a coherent program. The main and most public building, the media city, remains at the heart of the complex. A large residential area is placed in close relation to the meeting, entertainment and education spaces with the wide array of programs ensures a balanced day and night usage. The simple volume of the residential buildings clothed with a translucent envelope that characterises the porosity of the building opened to its surrounds.
