This complex mixed-use building project seamlessly integrates a Youth Club’s Sports Hall (basketball court and sports facilities) together with office facilities into the ground and residential units in the upper levels. To ensure that natural light reaches the lower ground, a double facade system has been employed.
Our exploration of brick played a significant role in this project. By using various structural bonds, we were able to differentiate the large cantilevered containers for the loggias and windows. This approach not only added structural integrity but also brought a dynamic and animated quality to the street facades along Dalston Lane and Cecilia Road.
