The May Fair Hotel

Extension to a long‑established Westminster hotel refining key aspects: capacity increase to 400+ rooms, enhanced streetscape presence and arrival and courtyard and roof extension through off-site construction with a unified architectural language that strengthens the hotel’s identity within its urban setting. The new courtyard volume is shaped to optimise daylight and outward views while maintaining guest privacy through a directional façade system tailored to the site’s constraints. To minimise disruption and ensure high‑quality delivery, the project integrates Modern Methods of Construction, including off‑site manufactured pod components. These pre‑fabricated elements improve precision, accelerate programme and reduce on‑site impact, resulting in a refined, efficient and contemporary addition to the hotel
