Arctic Resort
4* arctic resort in Lapland
The Lapland hotel complex is an architectural study as much as it is a master plan study. Spread over several sites, the project relies on the reorganisation of public and private flows while offering a reflection on the landscape at a greater scale but also a design strategy specific to each building and its context. The complex is organised around a new activity centre designed as a succession of membranes creating a roofed landscape. This strategy enables us to separate the spaces in accordance to their thermal needs, and thus offer a better management of the energy consumption and the interior/exterior transitions through the arctic landscape.
