Devonshire Road Tower

The project offers a new perspective on tower living, which challenges the alienation from the ground plane and the connection to the exterior typical of tower residences, but creating new ground planes with external access on each level of the tower. The building offers a unique range of living units benefiting from individualised spaces both indoors and outdoors. The proposal aims at increasing the sense of ownership, through the apparent uniqueness of conditions it provides (external gardens). This tour de force however is created through a tight and rational organisation of circulation and maximisation of communal spaces.
