Redeveloped into a 5-star hotel, serviced apartments and conference facilities, the sensitive contemporary design aims to preserve the listed building’s original features while integrating contemporary inserts such as floating platforms that define the utilitarian spaces of bathing, cooking, sleeping as an object within a larger space, which is refurbished and left autonomous of these uses. Thus creating a utilitarian sculpture in these majestic spaces. Our guiding concept resides in the development and use of traditional techniques and motifs within cutting edge design and manufacturing technologies to give a new life to this outstanding and eclectic structure.
